Sermons for September

Remember the Sabbath

From the opening verses of Genesis, through the giving of the law in Exodus, to Jesus' own struggles with its misuse, the idea of Sabbath is, or should be, an important part of every person's life. In September we'll take a look at it, and truly try to "Remember the Sabbath".

September 13: Remember the Sabbath: The Origins
September 20: Remember the Sabbath: The Traditions - Good and Bad
September 27: Remember the Sabbath: Reclaiming the Blessing

Ongoing Food Drive

In the large "Campbell's Soup Container" outside the Centrum Doors

Our community continues to be a major source of food for Community Ministry of Southwest Denver, even in the midst of pandemic and shortage. SINCE MARCH 2020, WE HAVE PROVIDED OVER 1,000 POUNDS OF NON-PERISHABLE FOODS FOR OUR NEIGHBORS!

Bring your unwanted staple food items to the collection container outside of the Centrum doors, and consider buying some extra soup or other canned goods in your next grocery store shopping trip, pickup, or delivery, to share with our neighbors in need.

Location

Finding Us . . .

Our church services take place in the Centrum Chapel in The Residences at Eaton Senior Communities, at 333 S. Eaton St. in Lakewood. On Sunday mornings, if you park on Eaton St. in front of the building, you may enter through the main door. Volunteers are posted until 9:55 a.m. to welcome you at that security door

Church parking is also allowed from 9:30-12:30 Sunday mornings on the driveway along the yellow-painted curb (loading zone) directly in front of the Eaton building. Please do not park in areas with red painted curbs which are reserved for emergency vehicles, or in numbered spaces in the lot which are reserved for residents.
